Today we are introducing some new features on Comfy Cloud, and pricing changes.
New Features on Comfy Cloud
One week ago, Comfy Cloud switched to Blackwell RTX 6000 Pros, which are approximately twice as fast as A100s. You might have noticed the speed up already. They also have 96GB of VRAM and 180GB of RAM, which will unlock much heavier workflows such as video upscaling. All users have been upgraded with no additional charge.
Upload your own LoRAs from Civitai to use in Comfy Cloud, with support for HuggingFace soon. Available on the new Creator plan starting Dec 8th.
Workflows can now run up to 1 hour, compared to the current limit of 30 minutes. Available on the new Pro plan starting Dec 8th.
A Unified Credit System
Introducing Comfy Credits: One Balance for Everything.
We’ve unified the Comfy ecosystem. Previously, using Partner Nodes required a separate payment from your subscription. Now, everything runs on Comfy Credits.
Your monthly plan grants you a single credit balance that you can spend anywhere. Partner Nodes will have set credit prices per usage. For Cloud workflows, you will be charged credits based on the exact duration of your workflow run—longer runs consume more credits.
How Do The New Pricing Plans Work?
Starting on Dec 8th, 2025, we will have several pricing plans available. Existing subscribers will get a Founder’s edition subscription, which contains a 30% bump in monthly credits as long as you have an active Standard subscription. See the new plans details:
Why Are We Making This Change
To keep Comfy Cloud fast and available on top-tier GPUs without raising the base price, we are moving to a usage-based credit model. This ensures fair access for everyone and allows us to keep adding premium features.
FAQs
What happens to my subscription?
If you currently have an active subscription before Nov 25th, you will be auto-converted to the new Standard subscription on Dec 8th. This means you will get 5460 (4200 + 30%) credits on Dec 8th, and another at the beginning of your next billing month. Users subscribing after Nov 25th will be converted to the regular Standard subscription on Dec 8th 2025.
How do top-ups work?
It works the same as the existing partner nodes top up.
How are credits charged for GPU workflows?
You will be charged 0.39~ credits / second. You are only charged for the time your workflow is running on a GPU. Not when you are editing the workflow or when models are downloading.
What happens to my existing Partner Node Credits?
Your credit balance will convert over to the new credit system. Partner node pricing will convert as well, so the price will remain the same.
Does the Partner Nodes pricing change?
Every partner node’s pricing will be converted to the new credit system as well. Existing users should not be impacted.
How does the Founder’s edition subscription work?
For subscribers before Nov 25th, you will get 5460 monthly credits (instead of the regular 4200 credits) for as long as you maintain an active Standard subscription.
7400 credits right now give about 5.5 hours of GPU time per month, while the original subscription was roughly 240 hours monthly.
For comparison, with around $35 on a cloud Docker setup I can get close to 100 hours of RTX 4090 time, with any custom nodes or models I want.
I really love Comfy and I genuinely want comfy.cloud to become the best place to run it in the cloud, but at the moment it feels like it’s not quite there yet. It’s more expensive and less flexible than RunPod, and it’s also not a simple “pay-for-pictures” solution like Krea.
Maybe offering lower-grade GPUs with a big GPU-time quota, or an option to just pay for GPU time without a subscription, could make the service a lot more attractive.
0.39 credits / second means that’s about 179.5 minutes, or roughly 3 hours of time, right?
Current plan has 8 hours / day and now it's roughly 3 hours / month, am I right or not?
