The Comfy Challenge Week #1

Our weekly community competition. Let's jam!

We’re excited to introduce The Comfy Challenge—a weekly community competition to jam together on interesting ideas, push your creativity and exchange workflow skills!

Weekly Themes

• Theme announcement: Every Tuesday we’ll post a new theme on X, Discord, and all the other social channels.

• Starter assets: Each challenge comes with a base asset (a keyword, a first frame, a workflow, or a prompt template) for everyone to build from.

• Duration: You’ll have 6 days (Tuesday–Sunday) to submit. Monday is judging day.

• Tools allowed: Any AI model or tool is welcome, but the major portion must be created in ComfyUI.

Rewards

• A cash prize or equivalent ComfyUI credits (winner’s choice)

• Weekly spotlight post featuring your work across all channels

Submissions

• Format: Defined by each week’s theme & starter asset.

• Where to submit:

  • Fill out the form with your submission

  • Post on socials and tag @ComfyUI (optional)

• Multiple submissions are welcome!

• By submitting, you agree that we might share the videos on public channels with proper credit to the authors.

Judging

• The ComfyUI team & last week’s winner will vote.

• We’ll announce winners every Tuesday with a spotlight post and a video montage of top entries!

Week #1: “Turn It Around!”

Here are the start frame and a depth map of it. Use the start frame to create a video that turns the cat man around. Reveals the character and also the story behind it!

• Prize:

  • $100 cash prize or equivalent ComfyUI credits for 1 participant

  • Weekly spotlight post featuring the top 10 submissions across all channels

• Requirements: You can change the first frame to different styles using the depth map, but the overall layout should be the same.

• Submission period: Aug 19, 7 PM – Aug 25, 7 PM PST

• Format: Video (16:9 or 1:1), under 20 seconds
