It won't let me install Python that way. Can you fix this? Without Python installed, it just won't let me into the workspace, even though I have it installed
Hi, I'm currently using a Blackwell GPU (RTX 5080). PyTorch just released a nightly build with cu128 support today. I upgraded PyTorch via pip, but every time I launch ComfyUI, it automatically downgrades PyTorch to an older version (torch 2.6 & CUDA 12.4). This prevents me from leveraging my new GPU for ComfyUI. Can this issue be resolved? Alternatively, could the PyTorch version in ComfyUI’s installation package be updated promptly? Thank you!
Having a hard time with the desktop installer version 0.4.17 for MacOS.
I get a "Reset virtual environment" error and when I hit Recreate I get "Task failed to run".
I'm not well versed in working with Terminal but after looking through numerous posts I've got Homebrew and Git installed but the ComfyUI install fails at the same point. Also tried the Clear Cache as described but that didn't help either. Any thoughts?
I noticed today that the installer has been updated to version 0.4.18 so I replaced the old version and ran it. This time "Reset virtual environment" ran successfully and the installation completed. But all the workflows so far are outputting solid black, UGH.

Problem solved. We need to go to the all tab, and select the clear uv function. Then click on the install python packages button again.
After that, the install script will work
